Nigerian rapper and singer Odumodu Blvck has finally received the prizes he won as the Next Rated Artist at the 2025 Headies awards held on April 27, 2025.
Odumodu received the prizes in December 2025 during a special prize presentation event. He was given an electric car, a land, among other gifts.

Reacting to the promised Next Rated winner award prizes fulfillment, Odumodu Blvck said:
“The Headies has given me a house and a land. They gave me a five-year visa to America, America wey be say they don ban people make dey no dey enter. They dem give me brand new, tear rubber electric car. What more can they give me? Lifetime achievement? It’s time for me to give back to the Headies.”
The CEO of Headies, Ayo Animashaun, noted during the prize presentation event:

Odumodu won the 17th Next Rated Artist award after beating other contenders like Qing Madi, Shallipopi, Ayo Maff, and Nasboi.
Lagos government buys 6,000 AFRIMA tickets for Lagosians
In another report, the Lagos state government, the host of the 9th All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), has purchased 6,000 tickets for its citizens to attend the music award event live.
AFRIMA is supported by the African Union Commission to place African music on the global stage.
