Obasi: Judy Austin set romance timeline with Yul Edochie
Nollywood actress Judy Austin has forcefully hit back at allegations surrounding her relationship with actor Yul Edochie made by her ex-husband, Emmanuel Obasi.
In a candid video shared on Instagram, the actress clarified the timeline of her romance. She insisted that she met the popular actor years after her previous marriage had completely dissolved.
According to Austin, her first encounter with Edochie occurred on a movie set either in 2015 or 2016. She strongly dismissed widespread rumours that he played a role in her domestic breakdown.

To verify her claims, she noted that the executive producer and crew members from that specific film production are still alive. Therefore, they can easily confirm the exact period she entered the film industry.

Consequently, Austin directed her anger toward her former husband, Emmanuel Obasi. She accused him of making false, malicious claims during a recent podcast appearance.
She argued that Obasi has consistently contradicted himself over the years to destroy her reputation. Specifically, the actress questioned his wild allegations that Edochie is keeping Obasi’s biological children away from him.
Austin countered this narrative by revealing that she has never blocked his access to the children. Instead, she claimed he only visits her family to show off his new wife, rather than making a genuine effort to be an active parent.
